Services

The NFGFHD comprises of well-trained and experienced staff members that collectively aim to provide numerous services and support to research activities related to laboratory animal models within and outside IISER Pune. Routinely, this involves breeding, genotyping, maintenance and supply of laboratory animals to researchers.

In addition to this routine work, we also offer services such as the generation of transgenic rodent models using the CRISPR/Cas9 technology, embryo/sperm cryopreservation, and the re-derivation of rodent strains from cryopreserved embryos.
