Murine Genome  Engineering  Facility

At the NFGFHD, our staff members are highly trained to leverage advanced gene editing tools to generate in-house transgenic and/or knockout animal (mice, rats, zebrafish and fly) models.

For rodents (mice and rats) specifically, we apply the CRISPR/Cas9 technology for the generation of knockout and/or transgenic models for academic and industrial researchers.

In addition to generation of the aforementioned rodent models, we also offers services like in vitro fertilization, cryopreservation of embryos and re-derivation of rodent strains from embryos.
